How to reach and engage ethnic minority groups on fire safety issues (In house course only)
A highly practical workshop on a vitally important topic
Recent projections indicate that two-thirds of the population increase for the 2011 Census is likely to be related to migration to the UK.
In an increasingly multi-cultural society a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to communications is ineffective, especially for ethnic minority groups.
At a time when budgets have been reduced, it is important that fire safety messages are communicated effectively and efficiently.
The key to achieving this is to understand the different communication needs of ethnic minority groups and knowing how to reach and engage them.
We’ve put this in house course together to help Fire and Rescue Services devise and implement strategies that will increase awareness of fire safety and encourage behaviour change amongst local communities.
