If you must use translated materials these points may help
Translation may seem the obvious answer to language barriers, but it seldom is, for three reasons.
First, many non-English speakers are actually not literate in their mother tongue or their mother tongue is a dialect with no written form.
Second, many key phrases have no obvious translation; in a recent focus group with Somali women they didn’t understand the translation…
