These 10 top tips could save you a lot of time and trouble
Being aware of people’s sensitivities and the context of their lives is essential if you are to gain a real understanding and insight into their views.
And doing so often depends on a number of very practical considerations
For example:
Check your calendar for the dates of important festivals such as Eid (there are two Eids!).
Avoid holding evening meetings during the month of Ramadan – many Muslims will have been fasting all day, and it’s traditional to break the fast at sunset. They might not be in the mood to attend a consultation meeting!
